Our Lead Pastors
Jimmy and Jessica Hargrove have been builders of Harbor City Church since 2007. Over the years they have served in City Kids, Youth Ministry, Young Adults, Ushers, Greeters, Coffee Bar and Small Groups. They also facilitate our Wednesday night prayer meeting. They have a zeal for prayer and the presence of God. In 2022 they were set in as Elders/Pastors. In 2024 Jimmy officially joined the staff as an Associate Pastor. Then, in 2025, the role of lead Pastor was passed on to them.
Jimmy enjoys the occasional game of golf or softball and taking his family on hikes. Jessica enjoys gardening and building stuff for the house or garden. Together they enjoy the woods and camping as a family. They are raising (and Jes is homeschooling) their three intense, imaginative, and boisterous children. If you visit their home, bring earplugs--and snacks.
Jimmy and Jes love this region and are excited to see what Jesus does next through His Church. They prayerfully expect to see God’s Kingdom come in Grays Harbor County as it is in Heaven.
Our Youth Pastors
Cameron and Jennifer Luft oversee Harbor City Youth. They desire to root the upcoming generation in the Word of God.
Cameron has completed online courses at Portland Bible College and received his diploma from Rhema Correspondence Bible School. In addition to youth pastoring, Cameron received his MFA from Arizona State University and teaches at several online universities. He also has a small pottery studio at home.
Cameron and Jennifer are happily married and parents of three wonderful children: Cyrus, Calder, and Everly.
Our Founding Pastors
Now retired from their lead role at Harbor City Church in 2025, Pastor Doug Cotton and his wife, Lois, have lived on the Harbor for all their lives and have ministered to youth and adults since 1980 in various locations and ministry roles throughout Grays Harbor County. Pastor Doug graduated from Portland Bible College in 1977 and they were placed as the first Lead Pastors of Harbor City Church by The City Church in Kirkland WA, in 2006, under the leadership of Pastors Wendell and Gini Smith.
Their heart is to provide teaching, training and fellowship that will produce individuals that live, love and look like Jesus and impact the world around them.
