Each Thursday we will worship with our worship band, the pastor will share a teaching on a topic or theme, then we will break into small groups based on age or gender to discuss what was taught. Kids' classes will be available for all ages so the entire family can join. We plan to have room throughout the church for youth, young adult, men's, women's, and co-ed groups.
Why did we choose to do this? To establish a baseline doctrine among all the people of our church. Doctrine is a belief or principle that is of great enough importance to be taught and shared. We must share the common foundation of biblical understanding across all age groups and interests within our church to effectively serve others and live the way God wants.
We are not meant to do life on our own. Come and join other christians in laying the foundations of our belief and what it means to be a christian in this day and age. More spiritually mature christians can build up the belief of newer christians and we can all lift each other up.
