About Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered recovery ministry designed to help people find freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. At Celebrate Recovery, we believe that Jesus Christ is our one and only true Higher Power. By working through the 12 biblical steps and 8 principles, we experience God’s healing power and lasting transformation in our lives.
Why Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is more than a program, it’s a community of hope and transformation, offering tools and accountability as God restores broken lives and families. No matter what you’re facing, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
What to Expect
We meet every Monday evening at Harbor City Church. Dinner begins at 6:00 pm giving us time to share a meal and connect with one another. At 6:45 pm, we gather for worship, followed by our large group session, where you’ll hear a teaching on one of the 26 lessons on recovery or a testimony. We end our large group with the serenity prayer and transition to gender specific share groups, offering safe spaces for you to reflect or share.
Schedule
Dinner: 6:00 - 6:45 pm
Large Group: 6:45 - 7:45 pm
Share Groups: 7:45 - 8:30 pm
We are a Family Friendly Ministry
Celebrate Recovery is for the whole family, because healing happens best when families can grow together. Celebration Place, for grades K–5, provides fun and engaging “pre-covery” lessons that help kids make wise choices and lean on Jesus. The Landing, for grades 6–12, is a Christ centered program designed for teens with “pre-covery” lessons that equip them to face life’s challenges with faith and resilience.
Step Studies
In addition to our weekly gatherings, Celebrate Recovery offers Step Studies throughout the year. These small group studies give you the opportunity to dive deeper into the steps and principles, make amends, and seek God for true healing while growing closer to Him and to others.
