Proclaim Him Conference

image
We wanted to let you know about an upcoming conference at Immanuel Baptist Church that will be a great resource for parents, children's volunteers and teachers, and really anyone who wants to encourage children to know Christ, grow in Christ and share Christ, and help them learn how to deal with some of life's difficult moments.

The Proclaim Him conference will feature guest speaker Tara Robbins, plus many great workshops to choose from, including: "Parenting through the Challenges Our Kids Face," "PTSD and Trauma," "Guiding the Child to the Savior," "Managing Your Classroom," "Fun Class Ideas," "Exceptional Needs and How to Navigate Them" (taught by our own Mindy Houtz), and many more!

Tara Robbins, the General Session speaker spent seven years in Madagascar as a Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) missionary, has a bachelor's degree in special education and a master of education in neuroscience and trauma, and has been a classroom teacher for nine years. She attends and teaches children's church at New Horizon Community Church in Spokane, and serves on her local CEF committee
