We have a team leaving for Burundi August 9^th and we are praying to bring clean water to Gitega Burundi. If you feel led to partner with us on this project our team would be blessed to be the hands and feet to give the people of Gitega clean water for generations to come. Here is what the project entails.

Water System Project – Gitega, Burundi

Project Cost: $14,378.96

This project will provide a sustainable water system for a growing ministry center in Gitega, Burundi, serving more than 80 people daily, including men, women, and children living and receiving care on the property.

The project includes:

• Installation of a water pump and pump station
• Construction of two water station buildings
• Digging trenches and ditches for water lines
• All piping, plumbing, materials, equipment, and labor
• Professional water engineers and skilled workers
• Plumbing connections to six buildings
• Six multi-unit restroom facilities
• Three kitchen facilities

The completed water system will provide reliable water access to the Children's Home, clinic, future school, orphanage, church, Teen Challenge program, and residential facilities on the property.

In addition to serving the ministry center, this project will greatly impact the surrounding community. Three borehole water spigots will be installed higher up the mountain for public use. Currently, many residents must walk approximately 1,000 feet down the mountainside each day to collect water. These community water access points will provide a safer and more convenient source of clean water for an estimated 3,000 people.

This project is more than a water system—it is an investment in health, sanitation, education, ministry, and hope. Access to clean water will improve daily life for children, families, patients, students, and community members while supporting the long-term growth of the ministry's outreach throughout the region.
