Back To School Marketplace is on Saturday, August 23rd at ABERDEEN HIGH SCHOOL from 1-4pm.
Here are ways you can help with this FREE community wide event that gives clothing, shoes and backpacks to kids as they prepare to head back to school.
1) VOLUNTEER - Come learn about all the ways you can volunteer at the volunteer meeting on Sunday August 10th @ 1pm in the Sanctuary.
2) DONATE - The church is currently accepting clothing donations for new and gently used clothing & shoes. Start boxing up clothes and shoes that kids who are High School aged or younger would wear. They will accept donations until August 20th. You can take those donations to the Pacific Room in the West End.
The backpack competition is also underway so we will see who brings in the most backpacks….the guys or the gals? If you want to purchase a backpack click here.
3) SORT - Come sort clothes throughout the week here at the church, click HERE to find out the days and times we are sorting through all the donations we will be receiving.
